My Space on the Tibby

Young people on the Tibbington Estate in Tipton are using computer games technology to construct how they’d like to see a local open space developed in the future.

They are able to enter a virtual environment that replicates the open space created by the recent demolition of homes on the estate and then use a huge range of virtual building tools and objects to create new ideas and see how their designs alter the site.

Competition to design Logo for Hodge Hill Regeneration

Liam Byrne has asked young people to design the logo for Hodge Hill’s 2020 regeneration campaign.

The competition is open to all young people aged 21 and under who live or study in Hodge Hill. Not only will the winner have their logo used until the year 2020, but they will be invited to the launch where the logo will be unveiled and they will receive a special award. There will also be two runner up prizes and all winning entries will be prominently displayed at the launch.
