Liam Byrne has asked young people to design the logo for Hodge Hill’s 2020 regeneration campaign.
The competition is open to all young people aged 21 and under who live or study in Hodge Hill. Not only will the winner have their logo used until the year 2020, but they will be invited to the launch where the logo will be unveiled and they will receive a special award. There will also be two runner up prizes and all winning entries will be prominently displayed at the launch.
The campaign started by Liam last year has been backed by government and the Hodge Hill district to create a long term vision for transforming the area, to be achieved by 2020
Liam said:
‘Before we start detailed planning I want to start a much wider public debate about what we want Hodge Hill to look like in 2020 (HH2020). For this we need a logo to go on all our materials that is bold, inspirational and easy to identify. It will be used on letters, leaflets, posters, websites and press releases, both in the constituency and nationally.’
‘This is a great opportunity to showcase the talent of our young people, I want them to be involved not only in the competition but in designing the future for Hodge Hill.’
All entries must be received by 10th March with the designers name, address, Date of Birth and contact details clearly attached. Designs may be in digital or freehand form and must be designed around the theme ‘Hodge Hill 2020’ or ‘HH2020’. Designs must be single colour only.
Please send entries to:
